20 des. Radio Saint Paul’s – how did it begin?
It started as an idea to engage the 1st Bachillerato class in the topic of current affairs.
They divided themselves into journalistic teams which ranged from International News to Sport, from Science to Entertainment and they made the project their own.
The eventual objective of the project is to inform the other students of St Paul´s about what is going on in the world through regular weekly bulletins and the pupils benefit not only from speaking in English but also from working on their research, editing and interpersonal skills, not to mention meeting deadlines.
Below are comments from some of the students on their experience so far.
“You get to practise speaking about something that interests you.” Jordi Domingo
“It´s a good way to practise speaking, researching and summarizing information.” Miguel Luengo
“ It has given me the opportunity to get to know people better and find out about their interests.” Mounia Bechelaghem
So, that is the story so far. Here you will find our special Christmas broadcast link: Christmas broadcast
