02 Mar World Book Day 2018
On the 1st of March children from schools all over the world celebrated World Book Day. The aim of this special day is to celebrate reading and to encourage children to discover the pleasure, enjoyment this can give them. The benefits of reading are endless and everything we read can provide us with new information, expand our vocabulary and writing skills and improve our memory.
At. St Paul’s the students enjoyed fun activities including a special assembly, a drama performance and a spelling bee.
A group of teachers, office and kitchen staff celebrated the day in style and prepared this entertaining video to remind us all of how much fun it is to read!
